Meet the Founder

Danny Mikhail is an entrepreneur, investor, and real estate developer whose experience building and leading companies shapes Melka Capital's approach today.

His career has centered on identifying opportunities, building businesses, and creating value through hands-on execution. He founded Melka Capital to bring that entrepreneurial mindset to real estate development and investment.

Today, Danny leads Melka Capital's real estate activities across commercial, multifamily, and luxury residential development and remains closely involved in the strategy and execution behind each project.

Advisory Board

Phillip McCollum

Phillip McCollum, Jr. brings extensive experience in tax planning, consulting, and compliance for privately held businesses and their owners. He specializes in helping clients navigate complex tax matters, identify opportunities, and develop practical strategies tailored to their businesses and financial goals.

Before joining Henry+Horne in 2015, Phillip served as a Tax Principal at a national CPA firm in Phoenix and as Associate Legal Counsel with the Illinois Department of Revenue. His combined accounting and legal background provides a valuable perspective on tax strategy, compliance, and business planning.

Phillip earned a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Northern Illinois University and a Juris Doctor from Valparaiso University School of Law.

Kurt Wood

Kurt Wood brings more than two decades of financial leadership experience across public companies, private businesses, and investment organizations. He currently serves as Chief Financial Officer of Array Technologies, where he helps lead financial strategy and support the company’s continued growth and global expansion.

Previously, Kurt served as an advisor to Brunswick Corporation and held senior financial leadership roles at Berkeley Lights, Micron Technology, DriveTime Automotive Group, True North Venture Partners, and First Solar. His experience spans corporate finance, strategic planning, capital management, and organizational growth across a range of industries.

Kurt earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.

Kevin Prociw

Kevin Prociw brings extensive experience in real estate development, with expertise spanning land development, finance, construction, and entitlements. Throughout his career, he has worked alongside leading real estate investment firms and REITs to develop and build more than 1.25 million square feet of commercial space across the US.

His experience across both the operational and development sides of real estate provides a practical perspective on navigating projects from early planning through construction and completion. Kevin’s background adds valuable insight into development strategy, project execution, and the complexities of bringing large-scale real estate projects to life.

An Arizona native, Kevin earned his degree in business and political science from Arizona State University.
